An unusual and rare car radiator grill badge. Flat design with a central Hawk emblem on a circle of red enamel, within a plated wreath below a crown, three-colours enamelled bar to the base, blue and brown flanked by yellow. Made by J R Gaunt of London. Size: Height 14.5cm, Width 8cm.

Mobilisation
On the 1 November 1937 the Adjutant-General Sir Harry Knox writes to Brigadier F. B. Hurndall, Colonel of the Regiment, informing him that the final decision has been made to mechanise the 14th/20th King's Hussars.
